AIRMAN GETS FOUR YEARS IN ASSAULT ON TEEN GIRLS.

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE Edwards Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 301,000 acres (121,805 hectares), S Calif., NE of Lancaster; est. 1933. It is one of the largest air force bases in the United States and has the world's longest runway.  -- An airman was sentenced to four years in confinement after being found guilty of sex charges involving underage girls, Edwards Air Force Base officials said Friday.

 was found guilty by a seven-member panel of officers on May 4. In addition to the confinement, Green will receive a dishonorable discharge, was reduced in rank from a technical sergeant to basic airman and will forfeit all pay.
