Delta Airlines said Monday that it was offering $96 to $196 round-trip fares from travel Nov. 28 and 29 only. USAir and United Airlines lowered their fares to match both sales. Most airlines typically match competitors' fares during special offers. The $88 fares from American and its competitors were offered on short flights, such as Dallas-Fort Worth to Houston; and Chicago-Detroit. For $178, travelers could fly Dallas-Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Chicago-San Antonio; and Boston-Orlando, Fla. The $298 fares were offered on routes including Los Angeles-Miami, New York-San Diego, and Seattle-Fort Lauderdale.
