 AIRBORNE EXPRESS ADDS EXPRESS PACK TO FLIGHT READY LINE-UP;
 LARGER, PREPAID ENVELOPE UNVEILED TO MEET CUSTOMERS' DEMAND
 SEATTLE, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- In today's competitive business environment, companies need to give their customers the products and services they need. Responding to customers' overwhelmingly positive reaction to the Flight Ready Letter Express offered since February, Airborne Express announced it has introduced the Flight Ready Express Pack(SM), a larger, pre-purchased shipping envelope for next-morning delivery.
 Flight Ready Express Pack offers the same cost- and time-saving convenience as the prepaid Flight Ready Letter, along with the added benefit of more space in a bigger envelope. Flight Ready Express Pack measures 12 by 16 inches and is suitable for sending computer printouts, binders or even small parts. The envelope is designed to handle up to five pounds safely.
 Before the advent of Flight Ready products, customers needed to fill out a standard airbill and attach it to an Express Pack or Letter Express envelope. A few weeks later, an invoice arrived showing the charges for each shipment. Flight Ready greatly simplifies billing and shipping procedures.
 The Flight Ready Express Pack provides shippers with a variety of shipping advantages:
 - Greater flexibility to ship a broader range of materials;
 - Convenience of paying for large quantities of air express
 service in advance with one check;
 - Reduction of internal administrative costs that can run as high
 as $10 an invoice at some companies;
 - Versatility of providing traveling executives, salespersons or
 return senders with a large, paid-in-advance shipping envelope;
 - Control of air express costs by designating the number of Flight
 Ready Express Packs allotted within a department or company; and
 - Security of not having to give out company account numbers for
 incoming shipments.
 "After our customers found out how convenient and easy to use the Flight Ready Letter is, they immediately began asking about the availability of a larger Flight Ready Express Pack," said Kent Freudenberger, Airborne's executive vice president, marketing division. "Our customers realize the significant time and dollar savings from the prepaid concept and demanded this product. We're happy to respond."
 Just like the Flight Ready Letter, the sender simply fills in the address areas on the Flight Ready Express Pack and either deposits it in an Airborne Express Drop Box or calls to arrange a free pick-up. Each package is tracked by Airborne's advanced shipment tracking system, which allow customers to get immediate updates on the delivery status of their packages.
 Companies that frequently have customers or field representatives ship parts or materials back to them for exchange or repair will find the Flight Ready Express Pack especially useful because it has no complicated paperwork and requires no special account numbers or billing procedures.
 Flight Ready Express Pack is the latest addition to Airborne's wide range of services and products and is designed to ship packages for delivery the next business day within the 48 contiguous United States.
 As with all the packages Airborne handles, Flight Ready Express Pack has a money-back guarantee if shipments are not delivered on time.
 Airborne Express is the nation's fastest-growing air express company, serving corporate America with the delivery of time-sensitive letters, documents, small packages and freight throughout the United States with its wide range of products that include next-morning, next-afternoon, second-day and same-day delivery services.
