EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE - Tens of thousands of aviation enthusiasts are expected to turn out Saturday for the annual open house and air show, where aerobatic and combat demonstrations and America's military might can be viewed up-close.

In keeping with the open house's theme of ``Yesterday's Heroes, Tomorrow's Legends,'' Edwards will have two of its heroes on hand - Chuck Yeager and Joe Engle.

Yeager and Engle will officially open the event by cracking sonic booms in F-15 Eagles at 9:30 a.m.

9:31 a.m. - Flag jump and national anthem

11:08 a.m. - John Collver AT-6 Texan aerial demo

11:20 a.m. - David Lazerson SZD-59 Sailplane aerial demo

11:35 a.m. - F-117 bomb drop aerial demo

11:55 a.m. - F-16 aerial demo

12:10 p.m. - B-1 bomb drop flyby

12:22 p.m. - B-52 bomb drop flyby

12:35 p.m. - 12th Air Force A-10 crowd show

12:45 p.m. - C-17 aerial demo

1 p.m. - T-39 flyby

1:12 p.m. - Stoli MiGs aerial demo

1:27 p.m. - C-17, T-39 transport aerial review

1:35 p.m. - 12th Air Force A-10 aerial demo

1:50 p.m. - F-15, F-16, KC-135 fighter/attack aerial demo.

2:05 p.m. - Tom Wade Edge 540 aerial demo

2:20 p.m. - Test Pilot School Team takeoff and flyby (F-15, F-16, T-38)
