 AIR PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT MOVES
 ALLENTOWN, Pa., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Products and Chemicals,


Inc. (NYSE: APD) has announced several changes within its senior management ranks. The changes, which become effective May 1, 1992, coincide with H.A. Wagner becoming Air Products' chairman and chief executive officer.
 J. Robert Lovett, 60, has been appointed executive vice president - Gases and Equipment. He is currently group vice president - Chemicals, a position he has held for the past four years. Prior to 1988, Lovett spent seven years as president, Air Products Europe. He joined Air Products as vice president - Research and Development in 1976.
 Robert E. Gadomski, 45, currently group vice president - Process Systems, will succeed Lovett as group vice president - Chemicals. Gadomski, a 22-year veteran of Air Products, has also served in several manufacturing and general management positions in chemicals.
 John P. Jones, 42, will succeed Gadomski as group vice president - Process Systems. Jones, a 20-year veteran of Air Products, is currently vice president and general manager - Environmental and Energy Systems. Prior to assuming that position in 1988, Jones held business planning and general management positions in the Process Systems Group and in various engineering and construction management operations.
 Wayne A. Hinman, 46, has been named vice president and general manager - Environmental and Energy Systems, succeeding Jones. Hinman, 18 years with Air Products, has served most recently as vice president - Corporate Planning. Prior to 1990, he held controllership and general management positions in the Process Systems Group.
 Thomas R. Hall, 43, will succeed Hinman as vice president - Corporate Planning. Hall, a 17-year veteran, currently serves as vice president and general manager - Polymer Chemicals Division. Prior to this, Hall held various controllership and general management positions in the Chemicals Group.
 In commenting on the changes, Wagner said, "These appointments further strengthen Air Products' senior management ranks and provide an opportunity to further broaden the business experience of key members of our management team for the long term."
 With operations in 29 countries and annual revenues of $3 billion, Air Products is a major international supplier of industrial gases and related equipment, intermediate and specialty chemicals, and environmental and energy systems. The company's industrial gas and chemical products are used by a very diverse base of customers in manufacturing, process and service industries. In environmental and energy systems, Air Products and its affiliates own and operate facilities to reduce air and water pollution, dispose of solid waste and generate electrical power.
