AIR FORCE SSG AWARDS GTSI IT2 $14O MILLION LAN-WAN CONTRACT.

) has been chosen by the Air Force Standard Systems Group (SSG SSG

) as one of five awardees for its IT2 Network Products Blanket Purchase Agreements. Awarded by HQ/SSG's Commercial Information Technology Product Area Directorate (CIT-PAD CIT-PAD Commercial Information Technology Product Area Directorate ), the BPA BPA British Paediatric Association.  has an initial term of two years, and is valued at approximately $70 million per year for all competitors.

The BPA is for a nonmandatory contract for the sale of network products and related services, becomes the third IT2 BPA that GTSI has won. GTSI also holds BPAs from SSG for printers and rugged portables.

"We've participated in several CIT-PAD acquisitions over the past year," said Dr. Joel Lipkin, GTSI's senior vice president of sales and customer support. SSG and GTSI have a long working relationship that has benefited Air Force and DoD users worldwide for many years. The CIT-PAD program office and Gunter contracting have made an extremely effective transition from IDIQ IDIQ Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (contracting/procurement)  contracts to BPAs and developed a process that works for both the Government and contractors. We look forward to working with them over the next several years."
