AIP Launches New Newsflash Service.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 5, 1998--The Association of Internet Professionals (AIP) announced today the launch of a new series of focused industry newsletters. Available only to its association members, the new membership service, dubbed the 'Newsflash' program, launches with the publication of the first bi-weekly "U.S. Legal Newsflash: Congress and the Courts."

The U.S. Legal Newsflash is edited by Bret Fausett, a Partner in the law firm of Fausett, Geata & Lund, LLP. "As lawyers practicing in the emerging fields of internet law and intellectual property, we are very pleased to be able to share the stories that we follow everyday with our fellow members in the AIP," says Mr. Fausett. "We hope that the 'Congress and the Courts' NewsFlash becomes a valuable educational resource for AIP members, helping them respond to new legal and business challenges and giving them the information they need to participate in shaping this new area of law."
