AIMSI Technologies, Inc. on Schedule for Delivery of First Alarm Units in January.

), today announced that it is on schedule to have the first shipment of AIMSI's revolutionary hand-held ALARM devices available for testing and delivery in January. The initial devices will include GPS and remote data communications capabilities and will relay elevated radiological data to a central location. The devices will also include data ports for the chemical and biological sensors.

The ALARM unit combines GPS positioning, mapping, and real-time communication capabilities with various sensing technologies capable of detecting radiological, biological and chemical hazards. The technology has profound opportunities not only in the Homeland Security field, but in environmental and industrial applications, monitoring of municipal water supplies, as well as law enforcement and food processing."
