AIMS captures critical transportation information from freight invoices of more than 5,000 carriers. AIMS' NetSuite, a web-based query, exception resolution portal and reporting tool, allows clients to better manage their logistics expenditures by analyzing data captured from freight invoices.

TIS' eFLOW was chosen to automate and standardize the processing of 80,000 invoices that are currently being manually keyed into AIMS' NetSuite each week. Cecil Bryan, Director, Key Business Projects for AIMS, expects TIS' eFLOW to drastically lower AIMS' processing cycle time and provide up-front visibility to the valuable information contained in each invoice.

eFLOW will allow AIMS to enhance its proactive management of the processing environment by automating the workflow, eliminating multiple processing "touch points" and allowing real-time tracking of scanned invoices from initial receipt until final payment to the carrier. This will be a tremendous benefit not only to AIMS' clients, but also to the many carriers that regularly inquire about the status of their invoices.

eFLOW is an end-to-end solution (jargon) end-to-end solution - (E2ES) A term that suggests that the supplier of an application program or system will provide all the hardware and/or software components and resouces to meet the customer's requirement and no other supplier need be involved.
