AIM Large Cap Core Equity Fund to Become AIM Diversified Dividend Fund.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2003

AIM Investments(SM) announced that effective today the AIM Large Cap Core Equity Fund will change its name to AIM Diversified diversified (di·verˑ·s  Dividend Fund.

The Fund also will undergo certain changes to its investment objective and strategies. The AIM Diversified Dividend Fund will focus on companies that have paid consistent or increasing dividends. The portfolio managers will focus on the financial health and profit sustainability of companies and select stocks with most total return potential from both price appreciation and dividend return. The fund's primary investment objective is growth of capital with a secondary objective of current income.
