AIM Investments Announces Limited Offering for AIM Mid Cap Core Equity.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2004

AIM Investments(SM) announced today that AIM Mid Cap Core Equity Fund will be offered on a limited basis to certain investors, effective at the close of business on Feb. 27, 2004.

The fund will still be available for investment to existing shareholders. Other investors, such as retirement plans and college savings plans, may also open new accounts upon approval of A I M Distributors, Inc., the fund's distributor. A complete list of eligible investors is available in the fund's prospectus A document, notice, circular, advertisement, letter, or communication in written form or by radio or television that offers any security for sale, or confirms the sale of any security. .

Investing in small and mid-sized companies, as does AIM Mid Cap Core Equity Fund, may involve greater risks than those associated with investing in more established companies, such as significant stock price fluctuations and illiquidity.
