AIM Investments(R) Announces Shareholder Approval for Reorganization of Six Funds.

The fourth largest city in the nation and the largest in the entire South and Southwest, Houston is a port of entry;
 -- AIM Investments announced that the proposed reorganizations of six funds have been approved by shareholders of the respective funds.

The reorganizations of AIM Aggressive Growth Fund, AIM Blue Chip Fund and AIM Weingarten Weingarten (German for vine garden, vinyard) is the name of several places:
  • Weingarten (Württemberg), Germany
  • Weingarten (Baden), Germany
  • Weingarten, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
  • Weingarten, Thuringia, Germany
 Fund are expected to be completed on March 27, 2006. The reorganizations of AIM Mid Cap Growth Fund, AIM Premier Equity Fund and AIM Small Company Growth Fund are expected to be completed on April 10, 2006.

AIM Aggressive Growth Fund, AIM Blue Chip Fund, AIM Mid Cap Growth Fund, AIM Premier Equity Fund, AIM Small Company Growth Fund, and AIM Weingarten Fund will close to new investors at the close of business March 17.
