AIM Global Trends Fund to Become AIM Global Equity Fund.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 2004

AIM Investments(SM) announced that effective today AIM Global Trends Fund will change its name to AIM Global Equity Fund.

The name of the fund was changed to better reflect its investment objectives, strategy and style. As a result of the name change, AIM Global Equity Fund will be subject to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Fund Names Rule. Accordingly, AIM Global Equity Fund will be required to adopt a strategy to invest at least 80% of its net assets Net assets
