AIG to Transfer Securities from American Stock Exchange to NYSE Arca in Connection with NYSE Euronext's Acquisition of AMEX.


NEW YORK -- American International Group, Inc. (AIG) today announced that AIG will transfer the listing of Medium-Term Notes, Series AIG-FP, NIKKEI 225[R] Index Market Index Target-Term Securities[R] Due January 5, 2011(Symbol: NOW), currently listed on the NYSE Alternext US, LLC (formerly known as the American Stock Exchange), to NYSE Arca. The transfer is expected to take place on November 24, 2008. NYSE Euronext completed its acquisition of the American Stock Exchange on October 1, 2008.
