Mucerino was elected AIG Vice President, Global Energy, and Robert W. Clyde, Seiki Tokuni and Andreas Vassiliou were elected AIG Vice Presidents, Life Insurance.

), AIG's overseas property-casualty insurance operations, a position he has held since 2002. He joined AIG in 1973 in the AIU London office, and later served in a succession of underwriting and management positions in the U.K., Brussels and Vienna before returning to London in 1989 as Managing Director of AIG Europe (U.K.) Limited and Regional Vice President for the U.K./Ireland Division of AIU. In 1993, Mr. Walsh became Regional President of AIG's Paris-based continental European general insurance operations. In 1996 he returned to London as Managing Director of London-based AIG Europe (U.K.) Limited and President of the AIU U.K./Ireland Division. Mr. Walsh was elected AIG Vice President in 1995 and Senior Vice President in 2002.

Robert W. Clyde, who is based in Tokyo, will continue in his present position as President and Chief Executive Officer of AIG Companies in Japan and Korea. Prior to being named to that position in 2003 Mr. Clyde was Regional Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mr. Clyde joined AIG in 2002 with 28 years life insurance industry experience, beginning as a life insurance agent, and subsequently serving in a succession of senior sales, marketing and management positions in U.S.-based life insurance companies.

Ralph Mucerino will continue as President of the AIG Companies Global Energy Division, a position he has held since 2002. He joined AIG in 1979 and served in a number of senior underwriting, marketing and general management positions in both the domestic general and foreign general insurance units of AIG. In 1995 he was assigned to the AIU commercial lines unit in Paris and was subsequently named Regional President of the AIU Africa and Middle East Region. In 1996, he was named Regional President of AIG's non-life insurance companies in Japan and Korea, headquartered in Tokyo. He held that position until he returned to New York in his present capacity.

Seiki Tokuni, who is based in Tokyo, continues in his current positions as Chairman of AIG Star Life Insurance Co., Ltd., and Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Mr. Tokuni joined American Life Insurance Company (ALICO ALICO American Life Insurance Company ) in Japan in 1972. He served in a number of management and marketing positions before he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ALICO Japan in 1989. He served as ALICO Japan President and CEO from 1992 until 2000. Mr. Tokuni was named President and CEO of AIG Star Life Insurance Co., Ltd. in 2001, and Chairman in 2003, when he was also named Chairman and CEO of AIG Edison Life Insurance Company.
