AIG Consultants Receives ISO 9000 - 2000 Certification.

AIG Consultants, Inc. (AIGC), a member company of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), has announced that it is one of the first companies to become certified under ISO 9000-2000, the new quality management system standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in December 2000. AIGC provides risk management consulting services.

ISO 9000-2000 is a series of international standards for quality management systems. These standards contain requirements and guidelines for establishing and maintaining a quality management system. Compliance with the ISO 9000-2000 standard is voluntary.

AIGC was recommended for certification by SGS International Certification Services, an international leader in providing third-party assessment and certification of quality management systems.
