 AIG ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS IN DOMESTIC LIFE COMPANIES
 NEW YORK, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), today announced two executive appointments in its Domestic Life Companies.
 Gerry Wyndorf has joined as senior vice president and chief marketing officer, and John Skar has been named vice president and chief actuary and head of the Life Profit Center. Both individuals will report to Robert J. O'Connell, president of the Domestic Life Companies.
 Wyndorf, 42, joins AIG from Mutual of New York where he was regional vice president for the Northeast region. In his new position he will have responsibility for the marketing department of the Domestic Life Companies and for the distribution of domestic life products, with particular emphasis on individual life and annuity business.
 John Skar, 45, joins AIG from Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Company where he was senior vice president and chief actuary. In his new position he will have responsibility for the actuarial department of the Domestic Life Companies, including providing support in valuation, pricing and new product development.
 Commenting on the appointments, O'Connell said, "Both Gerry Wyndorf and John Skar are seasoned life insurance executives who bring substantial experience and knowledge to our Domestic Life Companies. We expect they will play key roles in the marketing and financial success of AIG's U.S. life business in the future."
