AIG's American International Companies Retain Clayton Consulting to Provide Crisis Response Services to Commercial Insureds.

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced that its American International Companies have retained Clayton Consulting to provide crisis response services to its commercial insureds.

Formed by Thomas A. Clayton, a security analyst and consultant, Clayton Consulting will provide pre-incident and crisis response services to American International Companies Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion and Malicious Product Tampering policyholders in both the United States and internationally. Mr. Clayton, who is president of Clayton Consulting, was most recently an international business and security consultant with Kroll Associates. Prior to joining Kroll in 1990, he had ten years consulting experience with other security organizations in the United States and as an independent consultant. Before that, Mr. Clayton served for more than 20 years in the foreign service of the United States government in Latin America, Europe and parts of the Middle East and Africa. Recognized as the world's most experienced and successful ransom negotiator, he has extensive experience in investigating incidents of malicious product tampering, extortion, and in undertaking security reviews of facilities, including residences, commercial buildings and factories.
