AIG'S American Life Insurance Company To Offer Second Opinions to Insureds Via the WorldCare Global e-Health Network.

American Life Insurance Company (ALICO), a member company of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), has entered into an agreement with WorldCare, Inc. to provide personalized second opinion consultations to ALICO individual and corporate clients residing in various countries outside the United States.

Through the WorldCare Global e-Health Network(TM), WorldCare Consortium hospitals will provide second opinions to ALICO-insured employee group members and individuals that elect the WorldCare services. By utilizing digital technology, the Internet and private electronic networks, WorldCare will ensure the secure transmission of appropriate medical records of ALICO policyholders to physicians and specialists at WorldCare Consortium Hospitals.

The WorldCare Consortium consists of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation; Duke University Health System; Johns Hopkins Medicine; and Partners HealthCare System, Inc., including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare, and other leading teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School.
