The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO FAO,

) and Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS HIV/AIDS Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome  have announced the release of a landmark report on the toll HIV/AIDS is taking on agricultural output in developing countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, where most of the region's 30 million HIV HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), either of two closely related retroviruses that invade T-helper lymphocytes and are responsible for AIDS.
