AICPA tax reform report.


The AICPA has released a tax reform study describing the nature of the issues, suggesting a balanced approach for analyzing tax reform proposals and summarizing key issues to be addressed whether taxing income or consumption.

The report recommends 10 principles in assessing tax reform solutions, including simplicity; fairness; minimizing noncompliance; and payment convenience, among others.
