AICPA launches 2006 map survey.

See American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
 and Texas Society of CPAs have launched the 2006 Management of an Accounting Practice Survey, a collection of benchmarking stats in key practice management areas.

While many CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  firms have received an e-mail invitation to participate, firms can request one at www.aicpa.org/pcps. Firms have until Sept. 1 to complete the roughly hour-long survey.

If 40 California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  firms participate, CalCPA will be able to distribute the California results to CalCPA members for free.
