 issued a new eight-page brochure, Understanding CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  Services (product no. 337511). A marketing tool, it can be distributed to potential users of CPA services and also can be used to point out career opportunities in accounting to students, teachers, parents and career development officials.

The text distinguishes CPAs from accountants and emphasizes the importance of choosing a CPA for business and personal financial services The examples and perspective in this article or section may not represent a worldwide view of the subject.
