AICPA in the media--first quarter 2006 highlights.


The AICPA's ongoing media relations efforts work to keep the national and business press informed about the Institute's wide-ranging initiatives. This is the first of a new, regular feature highlighting the Institute's recent media activity.

National U.S. daily general-interest newspaper, the first of its kind. Launched in 1982 by Allen Neuharth, head of the Gannett newspaper chain, it reached a circulation of one million within a year and surpassed two million in the 1990s.
