History BDO Seidman, LLP was founded as Seidman and Seidman in New York City in 1910 by Maximillian L. Seidman. LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol has filed a lawsuit against it and others. We believe that this lawsuit has no merit and intend to defend it vigorously. The essence of the complaint seems to be that the American Institute of CPAs has somehow restrained competition through the creation of a portal - CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media.
