AICPA Library offers new services for members.A new Web-based service is available from the AICPA AICPA See American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Library Service at the University of Mississippi The University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, is a public, coeducational research university located in Oxford, Mississippi. Founded in 1848, the school is composed of the main campus in Oxford and three branch campuses located in Booneville, Tupelo, and Southaven. . As part of its mission to provide access to its accounting collections, the AICPA Library Service has begun a digitizing program called the Digital Accounting Collection. More than 270 noncurrent exposure drafts published by the AICPA from 1977 through 2005 are now posted, with more to come. The full text of the Accounting Historians Journal, 1974-1992, the full text of over 100 accounting pamphlets ranging in date from 1888 to 1923, and dozens of photographs and illustrations also are available. There are many other full-text pamphlets to interest all with an historical bent. The AICPA Library collection at the University of Mississippi houses tens of thousands of pamphlets, spanning a century of accounting. About 100 of these have been scanned in full text. In addition, the Library is entering bibliographic citations for thousands of others into the Digital Accounting Collection, so the entire pamphlet collection will be accessible. Over 10,000 citations have already been entered, with hundreds more being added daily. The entire DAC See D/A converter and discretionary access control.
