AICPA's Melancon, SEC's Cox to speak at XBRL conference in December.


Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox and AICPA AICPA

 President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Barry Melancon will serve as keynote speakers at the 14th International XBRL (EXtensible Business Reporting Language) A specification for publishing financial information in the XML format. It is designed to provide a standard set of XML tags for exchanging accounting information and financial statements between companies and analysts.  Conference & Exhibition. The conference will take place Dec. 4-6 in Philadelphia.

The AICPA will co-host the event with XBRL-US. The conference producer is XBRL International, Inc.

With "Interactive Data: the Revolution in Business Reporting" as its theme, the conference will draw hundreds of financial analysts, accounting professionals, software developers, financial executives, systems integrators and other stakeholders Stakeholders
