AIC Introduces SEARCH.MD - New OCR Technology for Scanned Documents at TEPR Annual Conference in Ft. Lauderdale.

Jeff Amrein, founder and Chief Executive Officer of AIC, today announced the launch of SEARCH.MD(TM) at the 2004 TEPR Annual Conference and Exhibition in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. SEARCH.MD uses optical character recognition (OCR) processing on scanned images to data mine in a similar fashion to text data. The program electronically reads words on a scanned document, marks them for recognition, and places them into a searchable database as they are scanned into IMPACT.MD(R), AIC's award-winning document imaging solution. SEARCH.MD allows IMPACT.MD clients the ability to search documents as they are being scanned, and also previously scanned, archived documents.
