Fox & Fowle's proposed design for the new Perth Amboy High School competition aims to bring a cultural center and encourages diversity in an industrial city, while providing a stage for secondary education. Fox & Fowle's solution maximizes the identity of each of the school's five academies by creating a community of individual permeable units, dispersed across the location. The students can witness activities around the campus which promotes self-awareness and overall consciousness of the school community. Sustainable design is also introduced to the plan as an environmental teaching tool.
