Advanced Hi-Tech Corp. (AHT), a leader in digital printing solutions, today announced the worldwide launch of the company's new ColorFlare CF200-12 and CF350-12 color servers for the Xerox DocuColor 12 copier/printer.

Converting color copiers into high-speed color printers since 1993, the latest ColorFlare models from AHT drive the DocuColor 12 at rated speeds of 12.5-ppm for color output and 50-ppm for black-and-white output.

ColorFlare is recognized as one of the most powerful color servers currently available on the market today, providing outstanding out-of-the-box color, full ICC color management and support for press simulations.

Corporate users and graphic arts users also benefit from ColorFlare's powerful and intuitive color controls, as well as innovative features that include Simultaneous RIP-and-Print, Continual Printing, Electronic Collation, Reverse Order Printing, Auto-Duplexing, optional wide-format printing, and Layout Tools (for easy image manipulation). ColorFlare seamlessly integrates into virtually any network and supports PostScript, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, HP/GL2, CCITT G4, PCL5e and ASCII printing.

The CF200-12 contains an Intel processor and comes standard with 160MB of RAM. The ColorFlare model CF350-12, featuring a powerful Intel Pentium III processor and 384MB of RAM, is capable of simultaneously driving a Xerox DocuColor 12 and up to four large-format inkjet printers. With lightning-fast RIP speed, this ColorFlare model sets the new benchmark for performance and meets the demands of the print-for-pay and graphic arts markets.

For even greater color control, ColorFlare offers the optional ProCal color calibration software that enables users to achieve the highest color quality levels with the use of a colorimeter or spectrophotometer.

ColorFlare's Job Accounting feature simplifies the process of tracking prints for billing or monitoring purposes. Also, because ColorFlare runs on a standard PC, the ColorFlare can be easily upgraded and can benefit from industry-standard Windows software utilities and application programs.

The ColorFlare was the first color laser copier server on the market to run on the industry-standard PC platform.
