Advanced Hi-Tech Corp. (AHT) today announced the commercial release of OneRIP(TM) version 1.25.

This newly released version is fully equipped with Scanback capabilities, Vite(TM) (variable image and text editor) and the ability to drive up to six color copiers/printers from a single server.

With 1.25, OneRIP's already-extensive list of copier/printer support expands to include connectivity to Panasonic(R) FP-250, FP-350, FP-D450, FP-D600 and FP-620 copiers/printers and the Xerox(R) DocuColor 12.

In addition to turning your color copier/printer into a scanner, now with OneRIP 1.25 the user can use the Scanback feature for black-and-white copier/printers. Scanback allows the user to scan images at up to 400 dpi, and print immediately or archive for future use. Images can be formatted as either TIFF or PDF files.

Currently, Scanback to black-and-white copier/printers is available with Minolta Di520 or Di620 printers.

Based on Atlas Software's popular Printshop Mail(TM), Vite makes personalized printing quick and easy by integrating variable text and images from the user's own database into the layout of a document. Vite can be used with any PostScript printer, runs on Windows(R)-based systems and supports most popular graphics applications.

Vite streamlines the customized printing process by allowing you to preview pages before printing and RIPping layouts only once in multipage documents for optimal throughput. The ability to print 100 records free comes standard with all OneRIP servers, with the option to purchase additional records as needed.
