AH&MA/WorldRes Double State Enrollment in Online Reservation Program.


WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1999--

Six American Hotel & Motel Association (AH&MA) member state associations -- Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States.  call center. By serving as a liaison between member properties and both consumers and travel agents, states have an added opportunity to generate additional revenue and increase property membership.

"The response from our member properties has been overwhelmingly positive," said Ilene Kamsler, executive vice president of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA). "We've already enrolled 85 of our 540 member properties, and are looking forward to helping all CH&LA properties market themselves. This is a great service that will help us attract nonmember properties as well."

The program is open to all member properties regardless of size. In addition to taking reservations through the program, member properties are distributed through the WorldRes network, including America Online See AOL. , Lycos, Yahoo!, Travelocity, and many other travel, activity, and special-interest Web sites.
