AGTsports Inc. releases details of contract with New South Wales Golf Association.

, AGTsports (Australia) Pty. Ltd., Thursday announced the details of their contract with the New South Wales New South Wales, state (1991 pop. 5,164,549), 309,443 sq mi (801,457 sq km), SE Australia. It is bounded on the E by the Pacific Ocean. Sydney is the capital. The other principal urban centers are Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Lismore, Wollongong, and Broken Hill.  Golf Association (NSWGA NSWGA New South Wales Golf Association ) of Sydney, Australia.

Phase One of the five-year hardware, software and services contract calls for AGT, along with project partner UNISYS (Unisys Corporation, Blue Bell, PA, www.unisys.com) An information technology company that was created in 1986 as a merger of the Burroughs and Sperry corporations. At that time, it was the largest merger of computer manufacturers in history.  (Australia) Pty. Ltd., to begin installing a computer network system in the NSWGA corporate offices beginning in August 1995.

Additionally, Phase One calls for AGT to install a similar and compatible system in 25 of the association's member clubs located throughout Australia. It is anticipated that the installation and beta testing process of Phase One will take approximately 90 to 120 days to complete.

Upon successful completion of Phase One of the `Golf Players Network,' AGT and UNISYS will begin installing the system in other affiliated golf facilities in Australia. AGT anticipates installation of the `Golf Players Network' will involve approximately 350 of these clubs by the end of 1997.

The revenue potential that will be generated by this contract is estimated to exceed $675,000 per month by the end of 1997.
