AGONY FIRES DAVE.GUS MacPHERSON Angus 'Gus' Ian MacPherson (born 11 October 1968 in Glasgow) is a former Scottish footballer and is currently manager of St Mirren. Playing career McPherson started his career as a youth player with Rangers, but was unable to break in to the first team, spending a period reckons David Barron will be spurred on next season by the agony he suffered in the last. Ligament damage restricted the 21-year-old full-back to only 10 appearances for St Mirren last term. He did start the final four games of the season and impressed MacPherson, who said: "David played at left-back and when he filled in for Jack Ross Jack Ross (born June 5, 1976) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays in defence and midfield for Scottish Premier League club Falkirk.
