), has closed on a new $1 billion credit facility. The new facility terminates on Aug. 31, 2011, and replaces an $850 million credit facility that was due to expire in 2010. AGL Capital has the option to increase the aggregate principal amount available for borrowing to $1.25 billion on terms and conditions expressed in the credit facility. This is fully guaranteed by AGL Resources. The credit facility will be used primarily to support AGL Capital's commercial paper program.
