Agfa(R) and FotoWire(R) announced today that they have signed a license agreement where Agfa will market the FotoWire Internet Photo Printing Solutions under the brand name of "AGFAnet Print Service" worldwide. Within the framework of the previous co-operation between Agfa and FotoWire, the Internet Printing Solutions have been exclusively marketed by FotoWire.

Both parties are to benefit from this license agreement; Agfa is able to offer a broader range of Internet services; FotoWire benefits from the increased penetration of its software in the market. Both companies have been working closely together over the last two years.

The AGFAnet Print Service is one of the elements of the AGFAnet digital solution, offering all photofinishers equipped with the latest Agfa lab equipment, such as d-lab.3, MSC (1) (MSC.Software Corporation, Santa Ana, CA, www.mscsoftware.com) Founded in 1963 by Richard H. Retailers equipped with Agfa digital printing lab systems can offer consumers more products and services than traditional minilabs. On signing up for the AGFAnet Print Service, each lab will receive either a semi- or fully customized version of the AGFAnet Print Service Client Software. This client software is branded with the lab's name, logo, design and unique marketing messages. In addition the lab receives the AGFAnet Print Service Order Manager software, which manages the processing of the incoming orders.
