AGENCY.COM to Energize Texaco's Internet and Intranet Endeavors.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1998--Texaco has selected AGENCY.COM, the New York-based interactive relationship management firm, to develop a comprehensive online strategy for the company. AGENCY.COM will assist the global energy giant in determining how best to use the Web to support its global corporate, brand and product strategies, both internally and externally.

The Texaco project will begin with a strategic consulting phase to determine which of Texaco's activities will benefit from online support. This phase will be followed by development of the Internet and Intranet venues, as recommended by the strategic development process. The launch of these interactive venues is targeted for 1999.
