Business & High Tech Editors

NEW YORK & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2000

14 Year Industry Veteran becomes President, AGENCY.COM: Europe

AGENCY.COM (Nasdaq: ACOM), a leading international Internet professional services firm, announced today that Michael Mathews has been promoted to President, AGENCY.COM: Europe, effective immediately. Mathews takes over from Eamonn Wilmott, who becomes Chairman of the European division.

Previously, Mathews held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for AGENCY.COM: Europe. During this time he was intrinsic in helping to build the company's increasingly prominent European operations, including developing AGENCY.COM's first-to-market mobile and iTV global practice areas, as well as expanding and integrating the company's European presence.

In his new role, Mathews will be responsible for continuing to grow the company's existing four European offices, reporting directly to Chan Suh, Chairman and CEO of AGENCY.COM. Headquartered in London, with offices in Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Paris, AGENCY.COM: Europe boasts over 550 employees and is the premier interactive services firm to a host of blue-chip clients that includes Adidas, British Airways, Carphone Warehouse, Gameplay and KPN Telecom.

Chan Suh said, "We are extremely pleased with the impressive results that Mike has achieved to-date. He has helped to define and implement our company's strategic direction of multiple digital channel solutions, while simultaneously running one of the fastest growing divisions within our organization. As we solidify our global leadership position, I am confident that Mike will continue to expand on our successes in Europe."

Eamonn Wilmott, Chairman of AGENCY.COM: Europe said, "We couldn't ask for a more qualified person to lead our company in Europe. Mike has a superb understanding of how to grow and manage change, while simultaneously leveraging our global strengths to maintain our leadership role in this marketplace."

Mathews said, "This is an exciting time, not only in our company's history, but also for the industry as a whole, as we continue to redefine what it means to build businesses online. In Europe, we have had the advantage of first-to-market development across multiple digital channels, and we have the wealth of knowledge to leverage across the organization. I am honored that I have been chosen to lead this charge within the company's European operations."

Mathews joined AGENCY.COM in April 1999 from USWeb/CKS, where he founded and led CKS' Atlanta office. Prior to his position in Atlanta, he spearheaded CKS' first East Coast operation in Washington D.C, where he helped to launch MCI's first Integrated Communications brand, MCI One. Mathews has over fourteen years of industry experience in the high technology and communications fields, working with clients such as Audi of America, MCI Telecommunications and Net Bank.
