The creative services group of CMF&Z Marketing Communications, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, promotes Paul Bettenga to vice president and Jack Zumwalt to vice president, senior copywriter. Both have been with CMF&Z since 1989. The agency promotes Patty Kisner to planning supervisor, media services, and hires Rob Carney as product developer / systems administrator. Carney previously was a database developer for Crystal Group.

Miller Meester Advertising, Minneapolis, hires Michael Busch as senior account executive in advertising to the advertising needs of client BASF. Most recently he was a regional sales manager with Intertec Publishing. Miller Meester also hires Betsy Bianchi as public relations account assistant, Matt Johnson as assistant media planner, Crystal Nelson as advertising assistant account executive and Jodi Schwantz as direct marketing assistant account executive. Bianchi is currently studying agricultural marketing communication at the University of Wisconsin, Johnson is a recent graduate of Minnesota State University, Nelson was previously with the Lincoln, Neb., branch of Colle+McVoy and Schwantz has worked at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and USDA.

Craig Evans joins The Kenna Group, Winnipeg, Manitoba, as vice president of marketing. Evans has spent the last 20 years in the crop protection and food processing industries in a variety of HR, sales, marketing and general management roles.
