The Castaic Lake Castaic Lake is a lake on Castaic Creek formed by Castaic Dam, in northwestern Los Angeles County, California, near the town of Castaic. The 323,700 acre foot lake (399,000,000 m³) is the terminus of the West Branch of the California Aqueduct, though some comes from the 154 mi² Water Agency, Newhall County Water District and Valencia Water Co. are offering the rebate to residents replacing older toilets from homes built before 1993. Those eligible would receive up to $40 for every new toilet purchased for at least $50. ``We are focusing this rebate effort on the older homes of the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672. ,'' CLWA CLWA Chip-Level Weibull Analysis CLWA Children living with AIDS (Lancaster, OH) General Manager Dan Masnada said in a statement. ``Older homes often still have their original plumbing fixtures, and we are trying to encourage those homeowners to change to one of these new, water-efficient toilets.'' According to the CLWA, some old toilets can use as much as 6 gallons of water per flush, while recent ultra-low flush toilets use only 1.6 gallons of water per flush. The utilities will distribute rebate vouchers beginning 9 a.m. Thursday while supplies last. |
