AGCO announces the appointment of Robert B. Crain as its new senior vice president and general anager, North America.

Crain directs the implementation of all business strategies within North America, including sales and marketing, manufacturing, product management, materials, engineering and the dealer organization. Crain assumes the responsibility for all AGCO brands, including Challenger, within the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Crain was previously with Case New Holland as vice president for New Holland North American Agricultural Business, where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of all agricultural products and services within the New Holland brand.

Crain's hiring follows the previously announced retirement of Jim Seaver, senior vice president and general manager, Americas.
