AG-BAG INTERNATIONAL LIMITED ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENTS IN ITS COMPOSTING DIVISION.


WARRENTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 17, 1995--Ag-Bag International Limited announced today recent developments in its composting division.

 to supply a mid-sized compost system. Edwards Air Force Base Edwards Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 301,000 acres (121,805 hectares), S Calif., NE of Lancaster; est. 1933. It is one of the largest air force bases in the United States and has the world's longest runway.  in California has contracted with Ag-Bag to purchase the composting system to process all yard/green waste material on site and produce a quality product to be used at the base as well.

This contract is in response to the May 1994 Federal Government mandate that all military bases begin to use some form of composting/recycling. In December 1994 the company sold a smaller compost system to a small municipality in the state of Wisconsin.

Larry Inman, chairman, president and chief executive officer stated, "The contracts awarded to Ag-Bag from Edwards Air Force Base and a municipality in Wisconsin are the first complete systems Ag-Bag has sold without first doing a pilot project." Mr. Inman went on to say "we are very excited about additional opportunities developing with the military as a result of the federal mandate."
