Business Editors/Technology Writers

WALNUT CREEK Walnut Creek, residential city (1990 pop. 60,569), Contra Costa co., W Calif., in the San Francisco Bay area; inc. 1914. It is the trade and shipping center of an extensive agricultural area where walnuts are among the major product. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2000

AG Group, Inc. announces the release of a new, expanded version of AGNetTools, their popular cross-platform shareware suite of IP diagnostic tools. Version 2.5 represents a significant upgrade to the suite, currently available for Windows 95/98/NT Refers to all 32-bit versions of Windows prior to Windows 2000. It implies Windows ME and Windows 2000. It specifically excludes Windows 3.x. See Windows. 4.0/2K and Macintosh platforms.

Tens of thousands of AGNetTools licenses have been sold since it began shipping in November of 1998, making it an extremely pervasive and recognized toolset. The compilation of testing tools provides a wealth of networks and system configuration information retrieved from ports, domain name servers and IP addresses locally and internetwide. Its wide appeal is due, in large part, to its straight forward, graphical user interface graphical user interface (GUI)

Computer display format that allows the user to select commands, call up files, start programs, and do other routine tasks by using a mouse to point to pictorial symbols (icons) or lists of menu choices on the screen as opposed to having to
, which sets it apart from similar freeware, shareware and commercial products.
