"As a Software Product Manager, I have come to rely on our web traffic more and more for vital customer interchange," says Dovid Coplan of Netopia. "WatchPoint assists me in recognizing where my visitors are coming from and therefore better refine the partnerships and content that I maintain."

Through WatchPoint data is extracted, analyzed and presented in an intuitive, graphical report format to deliver information such as the average length of a user's session, web pages or files downloaded, server performance, top entry and exit pages, the most frequently visited pages and more.

WatchPoint v.2.1 Feature Enhancements

The 2.1 release of WatchPoint adds many new enhancements including Auto Refresh To retrieve, scan or display information at predescribed intervals. "There has been an emergence of hosted services in our market that provide real-time reports on web site utilization. This trend is in response to the performance, scaling and aggregation challenges associated with traditional server-resident log file web analysis tools," states AG Group's Channel Manager Ed Hazarabedian. "With its unique technology and at a fraction of the cost of hosted services, WatchPoint passively monitors web site, server and network activity in real-time with no modifications to existing web pages, without degrading server performance and without burdening the IT staff."

WatchPoint uses a unique, non-invasive network monitoring approach to measure Internet activity, and extracts this key data through the capture and re-assembling of all packets passing back and forth between all TCP (1) (Transmission Control Protocol) The reliable transport protocol within the TCP/IP protocol suite.
