AG Associates announces partial release of lock-up.

), reported that Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., as a representative of the underwriters in the company's initial public offering, has partially released each of the company's shareholders and option holders, other than officers and directors of the company and shareholders holding more than 5% of the company's common stock, from the lock-up relating to relating to relate prepconcernant

The lock-up agreed to by the company's shareholders and option holders was initially for a 180-day period, to expire on Nov. 12, 1995. The shares subject to the lock-up that are in excess of the amount released will continue to be subject to the lock-up until Nov. 12, 1995, or until earlier release by the representative of the underwriters.

Assuming compliance with other restrictions that may be applicable to the shares, in the release letter Oppenheimer delivered to AG Associates, Oppenheimer stated that each such shareholder or option holder may sell up to 10,000 shares of the company's common stock free of the lock-up. The release will be effective on Aug. 17, 1995, and will result in release of approximately 350,000 shares of the 3.5 million shares that were initially subject to the lock-up.
