As reported in the 2000 U.S. census, the city was home to 142,990 people, while the city's estimated 2006 population is 170,617. , was cited "for leadership, active involvement and support of CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) The award for successful completion of an examination in information systems audit, control and security from the Information Security Audit and Control Association. Steven L. Imm, assistant plant manager, Waupaca Foundry, Inc., Waupaca, Wisconsin Waupaca is a city in Waupaca County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 5,676 at the 2000 census. The city is believed to be named after Sam Waupaca (or Chief Wapuka) of the Potowatomi tribe. , was honored "for over 20 years of active participation on AFS technical committees, the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter and for technical contributions in compacted graphite iron," Imm joined AFS in 1976 and has held a number of Northeast Wisconsin chapter chair positions. He also has been active in the Molding Methods and Materials Div. 4-E Basic Concepts committee and is a member of committee 4-M, Green Sand Molding.

Stephen A. Sauer, corporate metallurgist/sales, Carpenter Brothers, Inc., Milwaukee, received a citation "for ongoing leadership and service to AFS, at both the local and national levels, through involvement in chapter leadership, technical committees and technical presentations." Sauer joined AFS in 1970 and has been an active member on the local and national levels. A member of the Northeast Wisconsin chapter since 1998, he was treasurer from 1999-2000 and has been vice chairman since 2001. Sauer also has served on various AFS committees since 1978, including the AFS Div. Council from 1997-1999.

Warren A. Scott, (retired) Scott Sales Co., Huntington Park, California Huntington Park is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 61,348. History
Named for prominent industrialist Henry Huntington, Huntington Park was incorporated in 1906 as a streetcar suburb for
, received the honor "in recognition of his efforts to support and promote education, and for many years of dedicated service and commitment to the metal-casting industry and AFS." Scott joined AFS in 1948. He is a past membership chairman and education chairman and currently serves on the AFS board of directors, class of 2005.

Douglas M. Trinowski, vice president technical, HA International, L.L.C., Westmont, Illinois, earned his citation "in recognition for his contributions to technology transfer, his involvement and leadership of AFS committees, the AES Detroit Chapter and CMI (Computer-Managed Instruction) Using computers to organize and manage an instructional program for students. It helps create test materials, tracks the results and monitors student progress. ." Trinowski joined AFS in 1983 as an active member of the Cured Sand committee and was named chair in 1987. He joined the Mold Metal Interface Reactions committee in 1989 and served as chair from 1996-1998. He is currently a member of the CMI board of directors and will serve as chairman for the 2002-2003 term.
