AFS coordinates 'day of metalcasting' for transportation industry at SAE 2002 world congress. (Metalcasting Association).

The Society of Automotive Engineers SAE International (SAE) is a professional organization for mobility engineering professionals in aerospace, automotive and the commercial vehicle industries.

The Society is a standards development organization for the engineering of powered vehicles of all kinds, including
(SAE) World Congress, the largest original equipment service, parts and components exhibition in the world, will offer a full day of Congress sessions on metalcasting on March 6 at the Cobo Center, Detroit. The event's Congress and Expo regularly draws 50,000 transportation industry decisionmakers.

Organized by Steve Robison of the AFS A distributed file system for large, widely dispersed Unix and Windows networks from Transarc Corporation, now part of IBM. It is noted for its ease of administration and expandability and stems from Carnegie-Mellon's Andrew File System.
