The Society is a standards development organization for the engineering of powered vehicles of all kinds, including 2001 World Congress, held March 5-8 in Cobo Hall Cobo Hall, officially Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center, is a convention center situated in downtown Detroit, Michigan, USA. Engineered Casting Solutions and CastingSource Directory issues were
distributed to attendees, and casting entries from ECS' first
annual casting contest were on display. In addition, technical sessions
featured more than 30 metalcasting presentations, including an AFS
session, "Successes in Transportation Casting Designs."
