AFS Nominating Committee Named.


The AFS A distributed file system for large, widely dispersed Unix and Windows networks from Transarc Corporation, now part of IBM. It is noted for its ease of administration and expandability and stems from Carnegie-Mellon's Andrew File System.

 Nominating Committee A nominating committee is a group formed usually from inside the membership of an organization for the purpose of nominating candidates for office within the organization. It works similarly to an electoral college, the main difference being that the available candidates, either  to select director nominees to serve on the AFS national board of directors is comprised of: Tanya Zaunegger, Performance Castings, Inc. (Region 1, Chapter Group C); Jeff Grames, Dalton Dalton, city (1990 pop. 21,761), seat of Whitfield co., extreme NW Ga., in the Appalachian valley; inc. 1847. It is a highly industrialized city in a farm area.  Corp., Warsaw Manufacturing Facility (Region 2, Chapter Group F); and Pat Keene, G&W Electric Co.-Manufacturer's Brass & Aluminum Foundry (Region 3, Chapter Group 1).
