AFS Chapter Officers Conference. (AFS Chapter News).

, for the annual Chapter Officers Conference. The conference featured opening remarks from AFS President Paul Cervellera, Inductotherm Corp., and AFS Executive Vice President Dwight Barnhard. Bill Sorensen describes how chapters can become involved in the Foundry Educational Foundation.

On the second day, delegates watched the presentation, "Value & Service--Cornerstones of Growth," from guest speaker Mark Levin, B.A.I., Inc. The presentation dealt with chapter membership dynamics, including recruitment and leadership.

Chapter delegates participated in roundtable discussions during the two-day conference. These small, informal sessions provided members with an opportunity to share information and ideas to help strengthen their chapters. Discussion topics included successful chapter meeting programs and how to best handle chapter finances.
